I found another good fix for this problem, right click your bf3.exe inside your Origin/battlefield 3 folder, and select "Disable visual themes and Disable desktop composition". You don't have to alt tab anymore with this, hope it will work for you as well.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\bf3.exe
