******That does not include keyboard, mouse, or speakers.
******Two SSD Drives are not necessary and/or the 1TB had drive for storage depending on your pc usage.
******Single Video Card; Build supports a second identical card for CrossFire but would have pushed over budget.
******Does not include shipping but this is from the canadian new egg site.
******Monitor selection is different in Canada for some reason other wise I would have recommended the same monitor kill and rawdawg have for slightly less money. |

| Looking at this, I assume most of this price (relative to the standard build) is due to those two SSDs. I hope those work out well. Personally, I skipped out on an SSD, since I plan to spend that money on a second card. |

32013 CASES ANTEC SONATA IV W/620W PS 8 DRIVE BAYS, 7 EXPANSION SLOT 0761345-15150-4 [SONATA IV] 1 $143.33 | This seems like a fair deal...I didn't look at the case though.

Thats about 50$ too much to pay for your OS...exact same as the one I picked for more $.
Biggest issue with above is no video card of note (HD Graphics on processor won't cut it). I would still recommend the video card I selected..so you'd add $320 to the price of this build. Also, is a monitor included? I don't see one in your post...and I included a 27" gaming monitor in my build...thats $300+ there. If you had to add these to complete the above build it would put the total at around $2,000...I think that makes my build the better deal..even if we threw in a blue ray....but they are comparable with the above exceptions |

Thank you Feeble I have a HD 24 inch monitor, I curently have a ATI HD 5850 video card, I need to copies of operating system 1 for me and 1 for wifee, thought the blue ray would bee sweet.
I am starting to understand the mother board/cpu/case cooling/ memeory from your post and I like your specs better. So my last question is my video card should I upgrade from my HD 5850 to a better card and do I really need 2 cards or can I get away with only one card?
As for the cooling system does that come with the case or is it searate i.e liqued cooled?
Thank you once again Feeble

1) The 5850 is getting a bit dated....if you compare it to the bf3 beta benchmark you will see it is nearer the bottom of the list (look at the 6850 for a comparison and it should be right at or below that level of performance.) You could continue to game with it; but you would notice a difference if you upgraded....as in playing bf3 at higher resolution and graphic settings while keeping game play smooth...as much as you play I think you would get your money's worth with a new video card......and maybe hold off on the second video card for a while...you'll still be in good shape with 1 of those cards.
2)Blue Ray Drives (not blue ray burners) are in the 60-80 price range from new egg and can be put in any pc.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151222
3)You have an OS on that pc right now....if you get one for the new pc you should be set....if you need to maybe do an upgrade of your current operating system to save some money...if not OS's tied to 1 motherboard (generally; some exceptions made) are $100-120 per copy...for home pro 64 bit.
4) Cooling system is more than one thing...the short answer is it all is included in the price; but not liquid cooling. Cooling fans are in the power supply; in the case, on the video card, and on the cpu. All of these things come with fans included (The products I priced anyway). Liquid cooling is a separate purchase and probably not worth it unless you are overclocking your pc and trying to push it to its performance limits....you probably won't be doing that.
On a side note:
If you drop the monitor from my build; the two SSD drives (increased load times for performance increase at a cost), and the dvd burner.....then add another copy of the OS and a blue ray drive you come in at $1,345 plus shipping.
Also; in the next few days you could save a little more $ and do an AMD build with their new processor that would be very competitive with this system. Its always the same, you can spend as much on a pc as you want...but at some point you get less return for your investment. So the main thing is to know how much you want to spend..where you are now...and where you want to be once you spend that money... |
